357 Communication Affirmations To Become A Better Speaker

Today’s post will be about communication affirmations and how they can make you a better and more confident speaker.

Communication skills are an integral part of life. We frequently need to speak to other people, and sometimes, we need to present our ideas to a larger crowd. At work, there will be situations where you need to communicate well during a job promotion or interview. Other times, we need to be able to communicate our thoughts and feelings well to our loved ones such as our family, partner, and friends.

Without good communication skills, it can be hard to do that and you might inadvertently cause misunderstanding.

There are lots of ways to improve your communication skills, and practicing positive affirmations for communication is one of the ways to reprogram the way you speak to a better effect.

What are communication affirmations?

Our mind is a very powerful tool that lots of us do not make full use of. We frequently get ourselves stuck in unpleasant situations just because of the way we think.

“I don’t think I can do this”, “I am not good at talking to others”, “I wish my boss asked someone else to present the plan”. These are just a few examples of us limiting ourselves and planting a negative seed in our minds. It manifests itself and become a disability to us in many situations.

By practicing and reciting affirmations daily, we are able to change the way we think in our subconscious mind and start acting in a positive way. In the Law of Attraction, it is said that like attracts like. Once you start to envision yourself already achieving what your intention is, you start to behave and do things that will take you to your goal.

Just take this for example: you have a big presentation coming up soon in a month’s time. When you start using positive affirmations such as “I am able to present my ideas in a clear and concise way”, you will begin to find ways to achieve your goal. You begin to rehearse your presentation more, and you fine tune it, to the point where you become what you envision, and that is to be a better presenter.

This is the power of positive affirmations.

How to use affirmations?

  • Identify the negative thoughts that you wish to get rid of or something that you wish to manifest. Affirmations work in both scenarios, but you need to be clear about what you want.
  • Use the following list as a source of inspiration and guidance. You may use any affirmation as it is, or modify it to make it your own. The key thing here is that the affirmations MUST resonate with you and is a statement you truly believe in.
  • Pick out at least 2 affirmations and start using them.
  • Begin a routine of practicing at least twice a day of reciting the affirmations with each session lasting 3-5 minutes. Repeat each one 10-15 times daily. You can do this in front of a mirror, or speak out loud, or do it in your mind. Do not skip any sessions.
  • Download and print out your own affirmations worksheet below to use as a guide for manifestation. Stick it on your mirror/journal/vision board, or anywhere you can easily access throughout the day so that it can serve as a constant reminder to you.
  • Alternatively, you can check out our Daily Positive Affirmations Cards that is designed and organized for you. All you need to do is print them and take it everywhere you go!
  • Be patient! It usually takes a month or so to see results.
